Senior Scholarships awared by dhs athletic booster club!

Each year the booster club awards four $500 scholarships to senior student-athletes. Student-athletes were nominated by a coach and asked to write a 300-word essay about what "DHS Athletics has meant to me".

Every essay was wonderful, powerful and heartfelt. The seniors talked about building connections, leading by example, perseverance in athletics & in school, unforgettable moments with teammates and coaches, developing life skills, pride in DHS and school spirit, the power of teamwork, leaving a legacy, the joy of overcoming challenges, and friendships that will last a lifetime!
